Terms
Short, because the product is small. These terms describe what a licence covers and what the app does on your machine — nothing here is a placeholder for a longer document held somewhere else.
No build is distributed and no payment is taken, so no licence exists to be governed by the sale terms below. They are published early so they can be read before, not after, there is money involved.
What a licence is
A licence is a non-exclusive, perpetual right for one named person to run the app. Pro covers 3 Macs, Studio covers10. Machines you own may be swapped; a licence is not shared between people, and “per person” rather than “per household” is the line. Free needs no licence at all and is not limited by time.
Every v1.x update is included. A licence is not a subscription: it does not renew, and it does not stop working when it stops being paid for, because there is nothing to keep paying.
What the app may do on your Mac
Only what the published deletion rules describe. The app never deletes anything you have not selected on the review screen, never acts on a path outside the versioned manifest atmac-cleaner-rules, and moves removed items to quarantine before they leave. It requires Full Disk Access; that permission is what makes it able to see caches other tools cannot, and it is also why the rules are published.
What is not promised
The app is provided as-is. It will not make claims it cannot measure — no speed-up figures, no malware detection, no guarantee about a specific number of gigabytes reclaimed on your machine, because that number depends entirely on your machine. Deleting files is a destructive act even with an undo; keeping a backup is your responsibility, and no software licence changes that.
Refunds and trial
A 14-day trial with every module live, then a 30-day refund window. The detail is on the refunds page.
Changes and contact
Material changes to these terms will be dated in the page history rather than applied silently. Questions go tosupport@dfacto.ai.
